The Ovarian Cancer Project

1. We identified partner institutions in cities across the country who have earned the trust of ovarian cancer patients and those who love them.

2. We worked with those institutions to convene discussion groups consisting of patients, family members, medical personnel, and other groups with insight into this disease.

3. We shared initial insights on our website and in groups of leading ovarian cancer advocates, validating what we heard from patients and pushing the community to imagine new possibilities.

4. We synthesized everything we learned into an analysis of the core social conflicts affecting ovarian cancer patients and guidelines for the design of future resources.
